Abbreviation/term	Definition/description
ADO	Azure DevOps/cloud service for software development
API	Application Programming Interface
DEV	Development (environment)
OIDC	OpenID Connect - an identity layer built on top of the OAuth 2.0 framework. It allows third-party applications to verify the identity of the end-user and to obtain basic user profile information, through tokens that contains claims.
VPC	Virtual Private Cloud - a logically isolated cloud computing environment contained within a public cloud.
PII	Personal Identifying Information. Any type of data that can be used to identify someone, e.g. name, address, phone number, passport information and social security numbers.
RBAC	Role-based access control - An approach of assigning permissions to users based on their role within an organisation, removing the need to manage and maintain users individually.
