Purpose and scope of this Document

The purpose of this guide is to help Teams using KaaS in deploying their Data Products. The KaaS team has created a 'pipeline-template', that with some initial configuration will allow them to define and deploy 'Data Products' (Topics, Schemas etc.) across the different environments in KaaS.

How to get started

The following steps will get you started with the application pipeline template; 1. Ensure your 'Team' is covered by a signed Onboarding Agreement (this is usually handled by Sponsor / Project Responsible reaching out to KaaS Team (ServiceNow, Teams, mail)) 2. After Onboarding Agreement is signed, the KaaS team will configure Role based access setup for the Team (access requested via novoAccess), including a service account for the pipeline-template (typically 4-5 days as other service fulfilment-teams are involved) 3. The KaaS platform team will reach out to the Team Lead, and coordinate Template enablement onboarding - Service connection setup (for Pipeline access authentication) - Agent pools setup (to enable connectivity to KaaS, which is in private network. Note! requires ADO Admin privileges) 4. Team can start defining and deploying Topics and Schemas in an NN ADO project of their choice.
